Eliza Ruth

VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Hi, my name is Eliza Ruth I am a veterinary assistant. I moved to Baldwin city Kansas when I was 5 but previously lived in Germany since my father was stationed there for the army.

I graduated from Baldwin City Highschool I grew up with a lot of different kinds of pets. I had Tarantulas, Lizards, Dogs, Cats and Snakes growing up my brother loved exotics. I have grown to love all types of animals dearly. I have one dog of my own, Oreo. I had him DNA tested for my birthday and it said he is Shihtzu cattle dog mix and is my baby.

I joined the Petworks family in July of 2022. Before coming to Petworks I gained experience working at another area clinic for 3 years. I started as a kennel technician at the previous clinic and moved my way up to a veterinary assistant. My favorite thing about being a veterinary assistant is being part of a team to keep your four legged family members in the best health possible. And, if ever needed, to be a part of a team to help them feel better from a sickness or injury. I love watching your kiddos grow up and getting to know you.

My main goal as a veterinary assistant is to help Petworks Veterinary Hospital give the best care to your fur babies in a welcoming, caring and family oriented environment.
