Kennel Manager

Hi! My name is Sam, one of the Kennel Managers at Petworks! I joined the Petworks family in 2021. I had been working in the animal field since 2014 working as a kennel technician alongside groomers, pet nutritionists, and hospital staff. I have even dabbled in dog grooming for a little over a year and cat grooming for 2 years. Nothing has brought me more peace than working alongside dogs day in and day out.

Regardless of my time in the field or what “department,” the animals alone teach me something new everyday making my job feel like a true calling.

Around the Petworks clinic you will find me caring for our fantastic boarding patients, playing with our paw-some daycare kiddos and even scurrying around helping out receptions and vet techs alike.

Outside of work, I have a handful of pets at home whom I treat just like my children. I have 2 young cats, Dante and Beatrice, named after the epic love story from The Divine Comedy. They do live up to their names, I couldn’t separate them if I tried, Dante is infatuated with her.

Before Bea came along Dante only had his older dog sister, Lilith.

Lilith is my 10-yr old Belgian Malinois whom I’ve raised since she was just 5 weeks old. When people tell you you’ll never forget your first dog, they’re right. We are mutually obsessed with each other and she keeps me spry and on my toes. But aside from myself there is nothing she loves more than her cat siblings and to sunbathe in the garden with the fresh air….and chasing rabbits.
