Angie Callicott
PRACTICE MANAGER
Hi, my name is Angie Callicott. I am Dr.Kent Callicott’s wife of 28 years. I have lived in Overland Park my entire life. I graduated from Shawnee Mission South High School in 1986. I attended KSU for three years before being accepted to the Rockhurst University Physical Therapy Program. I graduated from Rockhurst 1991 with a Bachelors Degree in Science in Physical Therapy. My physical therapy career has been very rewarding over the years.
I decided to take a break from physical therapy after 25 years and join our Petworks family business. I wanted to be more present and involved at Petworks. My role is Social Media & Marketing Manager in addition to assisting our customer service team. Dr. Callicott and I work side by side everyday at Petworks Veterinary Hospital with the goal of offering the best treatment, customer service, care and compassion for you and your pets. Our staff is passionate and highly skilled when caring and treating your fur babies. I am lucky to see my husband at work and how he pours his heart into the care he gives your four legged companions. I am in awe of his professionalism, amazing skills and knowledge.
We have two children, Madalyn and Mason, that our clients have watched grow up at Petworks. Family is so important to us. Our daughter Madalyn is currently working full time at Petworks. She is also going to school on-line to earn her Associates Degree as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Mason will be attending JCCC to study electrical technology. Outside of work we like to take family vacations that include some crazy activities. We have gone rock repelling, white water rafting, rock climbing, snow skiing, snorkeling, scuba diving and many more fun adventures. We also love to spend time at my family cabin at Pomme de Terre Lake whi i am able to relax and enjoy life doings some of the things I love lik fish, golf, and listen to great music, which has also been a huge part of my life.
I love being a part of our Petworks “family”. I am so proud of my husband, Dr. Callicott. I have been in a unique position. We have been married for 28 years now. I have shared the journey of him reaching his life long dream of being a veterinarian. We always say Petworks is our “third child”. Dr. Callicott and I put our love into Petworks and work hard to watch it grow.
