CUSTOMER SERVICE / RECEPTIONIST

Hi, my name is Michelle! I have been working at Petworks for almost two years and have been in the veterinary field for 9 years. I grew up in Grandview, MO & moved to Olathe in 2012. I have had animals my whole life including dogs, cat, rabbits, rats, frogs, spiders, pretty much everything! I am currently in college online @ Penn Foster and working on becoming a RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician). I also went to school for dog training and started working as a trainer in 2017. I have wanted to work with animals as long as I can remember, and love what I do!

I am married to my husband, Brad, and we have a son together who is a year and a half old. I currently have a house of 4 dogs (Tyson – 14, Lucy – 7, Story – 5, and Theo – 3). I also have 5 cats (Mr. Kitty – 3, Abra – 3, Randy – 5, John – 13, and Vinny – 13). I love everything about veterinary medicine, from helping people take care of their sweet babies, surgery, and watching peoples pet grow up while learning all about their personalities.

I love working at Petworks because everything here feels like family. We all share the same goal and I enjoy working at a place that I am happy to come to daily. I like volunteering at KCK Animal Services and other shelters in my spare time and helping people find their perfect family member!
