Petworks Vet Care Clinic Policies

We want to make your appointment as safe and effective as possible.  Our policies for COVID-19, routine vet visits, boarding, daycare and grooming are provided here.

Petworks is in the process of easing it's COVID-19 protocols.

Although our lobby remains closed, for clients who schedule outpatient appointments for their pets are NOW allowed to enter the clinic for drop-off & pick-up. ALL other in-patient appointments will still continue to be checked in curbside.

All clients will need to call 913-381-3131 when they arrive, then those allowed in will be escorted directly into a prepared exam room.

If you are picking up medication or food for a pet, please call ahead and we will bring your order to you curbside.

During your pets appointment you are welcome to wait in your car, run an errand or come back to pick-up your pet at a later designated time. If any health concerns need to be discussed during your pet’s appointment the vet will call you to provide you with detailed information so that you can make informed decisions about treatment options.

When your pet has completed their appointment, we will call you. If you are already waiting outside we will bring your invoice for services out to you, take your payment and return with your receipt and your furry family member. If you are not present when your pet’s appointment is complete, simply give us a call once you arrive.

MASKS are NO longer required - but encouraged for unvaccinated patient owners.

General In-Clinic Visits Policy

We ask that when you bring your pet in for an in-clinic visit they are either leashed or in a carrier.

Boarding Services Policy

In order to board at our facility we require all pets to be up to date on their vaccinations. For cats this includes the Rabies and FVRCP vaccinations. For dogs we require Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper vaccinations. For dogs we also ask that they have a negative fecal result within the past year. If your pet needs any of these services updated we can provide them at the time of boarding.

Daycare Services Policy

All dogs who will be in our daycare facility must be up to date on vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella), be on a flea and tick preventative, have a negative fecal result, and have a signed daycare waiver on file.

Grooming Services Policy

In order to groom your pet we ask that they be current on all vaccinations. If any vaccinations need to be updated we can provide this service at the time of grooming.
