I have loved animals my entire life.  I rode my first pony at age 2 and it was love at first sight!  I am sure my parents regretted that day, because I pestered them until they got me one of my own at age 7.  I took off from there and trained and showed horses throughout my youth and was ranked nationally in Western Equitation and Western Pleasure.  In my free time I raised Dutch and Chinchillas rabbits while trying to convince my numerous dogs and cats that my bunnies were not part of a buffet line.

When it was time to grow up and face the real world, I attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a B.S. in Animal  Science. While at BYU, I met and married my husband Ron, who passed away in 2020 after 43 years of marriage. WE were blessed with 4 children - 2 boys and 2 girls - so I postponed my dream of caring for 4 legged creatures to raise our 2 legged creatures. When the children were old enough to be trusted not to burn the house down and were embarrassed to be seen with me in public, I knew it was time to go back to work.  I have worked in the veterinary field for the last 25 years. I have spent the last 10 years working here at Petworks.

I juggle my time between working (or playing) at Petworks, spoiling 6 darling grandchildren, serving in various capacities at my church, and cuddling my3 cats, Steve, Yin, and Ming. (which match the 3 holes in my head).

I love working at Petworks and look forward to coming to work everyday. I feel blessed to still be living my childhood dream.
